I am a recent graduate of the Master's program at the Center for the Study of Children's Literature at Simmons College.

I am a lifelong reader, an aspiring writer and a wannabe revolutionary.

I am on a mission to overthrow outdated attitudes about the sexuality of young women that still exist in today's young adult fiction.

This blog is a forum for my research in this area and includes book reviews and editorials, general issues and concerns, and a chronicle of my work toward change.
